A banner with a vertical yellow to pink gradient with the words ''NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A BIG SHOT'' going across the image in three lines, with each line progressively getting further to the right. The words ''NOW'S YOUR CHANCE'' are along the top yellow section written in pink; the words ''TO BE A'' are in the middle written in white; the words ''BIG SHOT'' are written in yellow and sit in the pink area at the bottom. In the top right corner is an illustration of a cd in pink and yellow with white highlights. Behind the cd are a pair of angel wings outlined in white. Near the center on the bottom half of the image is a pixelated light blue oval, labeled ''pipis'' in crudely drawn grey pixelated letters. The bottom left of the image reads ''SPAMTON G SPAMTON'' in white, with two italicized lines below that reading ''#1 rated salesman 1997'' and ''Left of the dump. Come alone. Alone.''

Spamton G. Spamton is a character from the second chapter of the game Deltarune. He initially appears as a minor miniboss, but if you seek him out, he can become a recurring character. Depending on if you take the normal route through the chapter or the secret Snowgrave route (also referred to as the weird route or the pipis route) Spamton may become a major player in the events of the chapter. In the interest of time, only the main normal route will be covered here.

Note that Spamton uses both he/him and it/its pronouns, so this page rotates between the two for him.

Spamton's overworld sprite. He is a very short figure resembling a white puppet with a long nose and slicked back black hair. He appears to be wearing a black suit over a white body, and has bright red blush on his cheeks and a pair of glasses with yellow and pink lenses.

We don't know much about the past of Spamton, but what we can gather is depressing to say the least. Spamton was once a businessman like any other, with one known specialty being as a car salesman, with posters bearing its face and the name Big Shot Auto visible - underneath another poster, that is - near a dumpster. Spamton's rise to fame was sudden, as told by the addisons, a group of npcs that Spamton is theorized to have been one of before his success, known as his big shot era. He clung to a rotary dial phone that spoke strategies into his ear, sculpting him into a big shot. But nothing good can last.

Spamton's special caller eventually left him like a child abandons their toys when bored. Its success disappeared overnight, evicted from the home it had within the Queen's mansion. For many citizens, this would be the last they ever saw of Spamton. In desperation, Spamton began living in a dumpster, still attempting to sell his wares from a store located near the dump. He fixated on heaven, reaching that light, that blinding light. When the protagonist Kris eventually stumbles into him, Spamton is delighted. With a soul like Kris's, with the light that Kris possesses, it speaks of reaching Heaven.

Spamton offers Kris a deal. If they come to his store, if they hear his tale, they can purchase an item called the Keygen. With this key, Kris must travel to the basement of the mansion and retrieve an empty cd from within. Upon doing so and returning to Spamton's shop, it will transfer itself onto the disk, requesting to be returned. This unlocks the secret boss of the chapter; Spamton himself in a new form, now known as Spamton NEO.

The animated battle sprite of Spamton NEO. He is a tall humanoid figure with spiky black hair and pink and yellow glasses. His body is black with white hands and feet, along with pink, green, and yellow triangles covering his torso. He has two large, spiky wings; his right one is purple and green, while his left is pink and yellow. Green wires connect him to an unseen ceiling. He dangles like a marionette doll, and his hear rapidly moves to look forward, up, and down.

Spamton NEO (henceforth called simply NEO) resembles both the puppet-like form of Spamton and its heavenly desires. A cluster of wires bind NEO to the ceiling, keeping him functional, just like the strings on a puppet. The large wings NEO possesses resemble those of an angel, allowing it to soar above Kris and their party members. The fight takes place on roller coaster cars with Spamton's face etched into the fronts. It introduces a new mechanic of shooting during a fight, with the player having to shoot several of NEO's projectiles to avoid damage.

After snapping all but one of NEO's wires to "free" him of his fated puppetry, it catches on and thanks Kris. The dark walls of the basement change to the crudely painted ones of his dumpster store, painting the image of a bright blue sky behind the man. He begs Kris to finish, to cut that last wire and make him a real boy. There's no other option, but... as the last wire is cut, the robotic form falls to the ground, eyes blacked out, with the screen cutting to black behind him.

The tragedy of Spamton has brought him to light as a fan favorite, with a dedicated fanbase outside of the game as well. The irony of an ignored, unloved, broke salesman becoming a hit in the real world showed best when merchandise that was essentially a party favor bag with his name on it sold out within ten minutes.

The man on the other side of the phone is believed to have been an individual known as W. D. Gaster, a mysterious man shattered across all of time and space. The implications of this dive into much depper theories that I won't get into here. Gaster, despite never having been seen before, is theorized to be the one running the show behind the scenes.

Everything above this text was made back in 2022 as part of a web design class I took in high school. All I changed was fonts (as the assignment had required us to use a font of our own handwriting, which I couldn't get to work and don't care to mess with further), redirecting a few links (from the old Deltarune fandom wiki to the current independent wiki), and making links open in a new tab. Some of the information on this page may be outdated, as in the spirit of its inclusion on my site, it is not updated. No divorce here... sad!
